VSC conducts independent research on topics that directly affect Chinese international students — including U.S. employment trends, visa policy changes, and career development. All publications are freely available to students, universities, and the public.

Research Mentorship Program
VSC’s Research Mentorship Program pairs professional research staff with early-career researchers. Staff design and supervise each study; fellows contribute to data collection, analysis, and writing under that supervision. The program is how VSC builds research capacity while producing the work published in the Applied Research Series.
